Much is going on now that spring is on us. I am working with some Raleigh NC folks to set up a Rosborough Showing and have both a Custom Wheelhouse and Sedan Cruiser available for the 18-19Apr08 time frames. Working with the West Marine store, but details are simply not yet available due to the store manager, Chris being at home in bed with the flue. But if not there, I feel sure I will find somewhere....just keep checking back on the blog and the events list for solid dates, times, location.

Many Thanks to all who came buy the Rosborough boat at the Maine Boatbuilders Show in Portland. What a great time that was. I truly enjoyed the invite to join about 15-20 other owners for a post-show dinner following Saturday's show. We had many laughs, and shared many ideas and details of how we enjoy our boats. We all agree we have to do that again next year. It was great to also be able to have Bob Rosborough join us for dinner and share from the designer/builder point of view, and to share laughs and fun with "The Boss" at the helm of our factory.

Thanks to all the local Nashville traffic at Heartland’s first Expo South boat show. I enjoyed meeting all of you and look forward to seeing many of you at our local marinas in the spring. It was great to see some of you who had seen me on the Cumberland River already. It looks that this semi-custom vessel will make a great addition to the boats in our marinas and on our waters. Look forward to seeing you again on the waters!

Take note of the Jan08 BOAT U.S. magazine article on our home waters. Article is about Knoxville to Nashville via the waters. The TN and Cumberland Rivers...some 850-1000 miles of river with supporting marinas about every 50 miles thanks to the BIG (Boating Infrastructure Grant) funds. The article stops in Nashville, but our family often boats on the more than 190 miles navigable miles upriver from Nashville to Celina, TN. You can go beyond Celina, but barge traffic channels are maintained up to Celina. Email if you missed the article. Some great "side trip" waters from the Great Loop.

The bulk space was already taking in the Conference Center during the Nashville Boat show dates of 9-13Jan08. Well, boats belong in the water anyway so I have reserved space on the Nashville City Dock for the boat show dates. The dock is about 3-5 blocks down Broad Street from the Conference Center, behind the Music City Star commuter train station. Drop me an email if you plan to make the boat show and I have some passes for the indoor boat show available too on a first come, first serve basis. Hope to see you on the Nashville City Dock and on the Rosborough RF-246 boats.

Come join me in Hermitage/Nashville at the West Marine store for our first boat show. The management of that store got excited when they saw the Rosborough RF246 and invited us to set up with them this weekend, 2-4Nov07. Hours will be from 8am to dark. Come on buy and see us!

Had a great time down in the Gulf area last weekend and it was great to see many of my boating friends again. Had a chance to run the Rozzy thru some paces in shallow water runs, under low bridges, out thru the bay areas, and then out into the gulf for about a good hour. Boat worked great with 6 men, coolers, food...and fun on board. Thanks for the memories!!
