Welcome!

Thank you for making the decision to click on my link about my boats. You are about to see in my opinion the best built and largest feeling 25' boats made. I love boating 12 months out of the year. I always want to be boating in comfort with a smooth, predictable, dependable, safe and commercially proven boat. No doubts here these quality boats can take me many places in many different sea and weather conditions and bring me back safely.

This RF246 is way beyond your normal mass produced recreational boats many builders are producing today. Over 10% of the RF246 hull built to date are for and in service with the Canadian Marine and Fisheries every day of the year . I have enjoyed this hull in the Puget Sound waters, Annapolis/Chesapeake Bay area, down the eastern coast, around the Gulf Coast, the Apalachicola waters and many miles on our inland waters in all type of temperatures, wind conditions, flood conditions, skinny water conditions and the rest of the conditions Mother Nature tosses at us in these areas throughout the years. They are simply a sweet hull.
After retirement and falling in love with this hull, I started building out the hulls for one customer at a time a few years back. The finished build was around that owner matching their intended boating needs, planned uses and as complete as they desired. These hulls were awesome to deliver and see the owners realize it was built for and around them and to very high standards combined with being delivered on time.

At the Maine Boat Builders Show and other boat shows I attended around the US, I kept hearing that prospective owners sure wish one was available with a good size shower and private head area other than the standard head-by-the-bed layout available from Bob Rosborough's factory in Halifax. Yes it is a great layout straight from the factory, but, we all do not like the same things and layout all the time. We want OUR choice. It is OUR funds.

So, after Bob visited me at my home and saw what myself and Les Lampman at EQ Marine in Oak Harbor, WA had accomplished on my personal customized RF246 wheelhouse.... Bob agreed to send us a blank canvas to work with. This layout effects the main cabin area from the entry into the cabin door and it's placement, forward to the factory V-Berth.... with of course the development of the head/shower area up in the cabin area rather than located in the V-Berth as standard.
We started by changing the location of the door into the cabin area as to allow the Captain to see thru the door while backing down on things or into a tight slip at the marinas and not have their vision of the motors and stern blocked by the shower and head. I love the great vision out the back door and having the privacy and luxury of the large private head/shower area. Most of the other changes were due to mine and Les' vast experience traveling on many different cabin type boats. We drew ideas from each boat we have owned, traveled on and worked on.

We took time and listened to what customers requested. You should love the ability to take a full stand up shower with plenty of room after a hot or dirty day on the waters, and know while enjoying it, you did not fill the V-Berth with moisture from the shower. The greatest benefit to all on board will be when using the head located in it's own place with adequate ventilation and privacy.
Take a look. Let me know what you think.
